NCLEX-RN on a résumé: eligible, scheduled or passed, and how it prints
Put your NCLEX status on the license line, not after your name: "Registered Nurse (RN) — NCLEX scheduled, PA" until the board issues the license. (How NurseResume prints it)

The three wordings
NurseResume offers three NCLEX statuses for a license that is not yet issued: NCLEX eligible, NCLEX scheduled and NCLEX passed. (How NurseResume prints it)
The status prints on the license line after the license name, followed by the state, for example "Registered Nurse (RN) — NCLEX eligible, PA". (How NurseResume prints it)
Once the license is issued, the line prints the license with no status. (How NurseResume prints it)
How the exam and the license connect
You apply for licensure to the nursing regulatory body first, then register for the exam. The Authorization to Test is issued once the board declares you eligible and the registration is complete. NCSBN: how to register for the NCLEX
Each Authorization to Test is valid for a period the board sets, 90 days on average, and you must test within it. NCSBN: how to register for the NCLEX
